Related Arts at Bancroft

After harvesting the last produce, the Garden Club at Bancroft planted some greens in hopes of some continued good weather-- but most of the beds look more like Fall harvest by spreading straw and pumpkins that will break down over the winter and help enrich the soil. The club will also work on making and setting out a few weather instruments for classes to use in science.

Six Kennett high school students received financial awards, and a monetary prize was awarded to the KHS Hermanitas Scholarship Fund, a fund that supports students in their academic pursuits as part of the Community Skills Initiative AI Skill-A-Thon in October.
