Emails, Text Messages & Phone Calls
KCSD and its schools utilize School Messenger to communicate official messages by email, text and phone call. To update your contact information:
Log into the Skyward Family Access Portal to update your contact information today. Then, text “Y” to 67587 from your cell phone to receive text messages.
To log into the Skyward Family Access Portal, toggle to the "Family Access" screen, type your username & password and click "Sign In".
If this is your first time logging in, please check your inbox for an email from email@example.com with the subject line "Family Access Account Information." This email contains your username and a link to set up your password.

New this year, KCSD teachers will primarily use Talking Points to facilitate classroom communication to families. Talking Points is free of cost and available in 150+ languages! Access via desktop, mobile (Apple or Android) and SMS.
