Inclement Weather
When faced with severe storms, district administration may take one of the following actions to ensure the safety of our community:

Delayed Opening / Aperatura Retrasada
Students and staff should report to their bus stop and/or school two hours later than usual.
Los estudiantes y el personal deben presentarse en la parada del autobús y / o la escuela dos horas más tarde de lo habitual.
Flexible Instructional Day / Día de Instrucción Flexible
Students and staff should remain home for the day and participate to the best of their ability in remote learning. Unlike traditional district closures, Flexible Instructional Days (FIDs) do not need to be made up at the end of the school year. Families are invited to review the following full guide to FIDs.
Los estudiantes y el personal deben permanecer en casa durante el día y participar lo mejor que puedan en el aprendizaje remoto. A diferencia de los cierres tradicionales de los distritos, los Días de Instrucción Flexibles (FID) no necesitan recuperarse al final del año escolar. District Closure / Cierre del Distrito
In the most extreme circumstances, where access to power is limited district-wide, students and staff may remain home with no expectation of remote learning. Unlike Flexible Instructional Days, traditional district closures do need to be made up at the end of the school year.
En las circunstancias más extremas, donde el acceso a la energía es limitado en todo el distrito, los estudiantes y el personal pueden permanecer en casa, sin las expectativas de aprendizaje remoto. A diferencia de los Días de Instrucción Flexibles, los cierres tradicionales del distrito deben recuperarse al final del año escolar.
