The Kennett Consolidated School District is proud to offer STEM education for our students at every level. At our high school, STEM continues to grow every year. We now offer four engineering courses in the high school: Introduction to Engineering, Principles of Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and Civil Engineering & Architecture.
At the middle school level, every student participates in three quarter-long courses: Design and Modeling in 6th grade, Flight and Space in 7th grade, and Automation & Robotics in 8th grade. These courses provide the fundamentals of engineering for all students and spark interest in continued learning of engineering at the high school level.
At the elementary level, we offer a summer STEM Robotics Camp (Click here for flyer) and offer an after-school Launch program focused on the application of physical science topics for kindergarten through 4th grade. All courses are taught by Project Lead The Way certified teachers through hands-on, project-based activities.
