School schedules operate on a six-day cycle; each day is assigned a letter, A-F. At the end of six days the cycle repeats, starting with the “A” day schedule.
When schools close due to bad weather, students return to school using the letter day that follows the last letter day they were in school. For example, if students were in school on an “E” day, and schools closed for two days, students would return to school and use the “F” day schedule.
