New Teachers Attend Induction

New teacher meets administrator at induction

The Kennett Consolidated School District Administration welcomed forty new teachers during the annual new teacher induction days that began on Monday, August 12, 2024.  Incoming Superintendent Dr. Kimberly Rizzo Saunders joined the entire administration team during a Monday morning breakfast to welcome the teachers who will be part of our staff at all six KCSD schools.

Director of Human Resources Chris Marsala opened the event with a welcome walking them through the schedule for the four days they will be working with the team.  Assistant and Acting Superintendent Michael Barber joined Dr. Rizzo Saunders in a greeting as well.

Technology, Teaching and Learning, English Language Development, and Special Education teams also spent time with the new hires.  Teachers enjoyed a tour of the District on Tuesday and spent more time in their buildings before a special induction ceremony and photograph before time with their principals in their new buildings.   New teachers will join their fellow KCSD coworkers next week during teacher in service days.
