KCSD Safety Drills

At KCSD, safety is our first priority. In fact, every month the Pennsylvania Department of Education requires that we run routine drills with students and staff to practice our procedures, including for lockdowns.

We understand that last week’s threat was unsettling for many. In light of this, we want you to know now that pre-scheduled drills will continue to take place in all schools throughout the year.

At this time and others, local law enforcement will maintain a presence on our campuses.

We thank all members of our community for their cooperation. These scenarios help our students and staff develop the skills they need to protect themselves and others in the event of a real emergency.

Should you have any questions or concerns, we invite you to contact your School’s Principal at any time.
