It is our privilege to host your child’s K-12 educational experience. Whether they are beginning in our Mary D. Lang Kindergarten Center or transferring from another elementary, middle or high school– your child’s future is sure to be bright!
To get started, follow the steps below.
For students in the Kennett Consolidated School District (KCSD), a bright future begins at the Mary D. Lang Kindergarten Center (MDL). Located in the heart of Historic Kennett Square, MDL’s team of 25 highly-educated staff empower nearly 300 of our youngest learners to succeed throughout their entire academic career.
The Kindergarten year is critical. During their full-day program, students develop foundational skills, nurture a sense of self-confidence and create community.
In addition to personalized instruction in the core areas of reading, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies, students at MDL explore art, music, physical education and more! Each day, they have the opportunity to apply their learning through purposeful play.
At KCSD, we support the whole student. All receive breakfast, lunch and transportation to- and-from school. The District is also proud to offer comprehensive student services including English Language Development (ELD), Mental Health Counseling, Nursing, and Hearing, Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapies.
