Contribute to Our Counseling Evaluation (Focus Group and Survey)
KCSD school counselors have recently received training on the updated ASCA (American School Counselor Association) National Model and how to conduct a thorough program evaluation.
To understand how well our counseling program is working, we are gathering feedback from everyone. Staff and student focus groups are happening now, and we invite you to join the upcoming parent focus groups. No RSVP is needed—just join us. Interpretation services will be available.
Parent Focus Groups
- Tuesday, September 23rd at 6:00 PM
- Tuesday, September 30th at 6:00 PM

An additional focus group will take place during the Café en Familia event on Thursday, September 25th. We are also asking parents and guardians to complete a survey by Tuesday, September 30th. Links are below:
Survey Links
Students in grades 3–12 will take the survey between Thursday, September 25th and Tuesday, September 30th. Secondary students will complete it during their scheduled Strength (KMS) and AIE (KHS) classes to avoid missing instruction.
If you wish to opt your child out, please notify your building principal by Wednesday, September 24th.
Your feedback is important to help us improve our counseling program, support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth, and ensure they are prepared for college and careers. All responses will be kept confidential.

How Is Your Website Experience?
We continue to grow our new websites with better navigation and rich content. While the Elementary websites are still under construction, the District, High School, Middle School, and Kindergarten websites are live and expanding.
