Building the Future at KCSD
At the Kennett Consolidated School District (KCSD), we are building our future! Beginning in 2022-23, the district will embark on two capital construction projects at Greenwood and New Garden Elementary Schools.
“For more than half-a-century, the current buildings have been a welcoming home-away-from-home for KCSD students. Whether our board decides to re-construct or renovate, we look forward to providing future-forward spaces for discovery and learning to take place.” – KCSD Superintendent Dr. Dusty Blakey.
A first step, Allentown-based Breslin Architects has delivered the final results of their feasibility study. Developed during the 2021-22 Academic Year, the report analyzes multiple sources of data and makes high-level recommendations for the District’s Board of Directors to consider about both the scope and size of the projects.
Your voice matters! After reviewing the Feasibility Study, submit your feedback by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. While comments will be regularly reviewed, there will be no immediate responses. Instead, all will be shared during the Board of Directors’ Open Deliberations on Monday, June 6th, at 7 p.m. in the Mary D. Lang Kindergarten Center. Members of the community are invited to attend in person or view online.
